Ask who owns each tool, where it is stored, expected maintenance, useful life assumptions, and what happens if the supplier relationship ends.
Commercial terms affect the comparable cost
Quantity, color split, size ratio, payment, incoterm, inspection, test scope, packaging, spare material, claim handling, and timing all influence the offer. Compare quotes on the same basis and calculate landed cost with logistics and duties through qualified partners. Do not use a target price to remove unverified items silently; require written specification changes.
